Selection Notes and General Comments
- High structural strength
for direct mounting in steel/SS pipe lines.
- Connections available in flanges, screwed pipe
fittings or PVC solvent pressure fittings.
- Optional high and/or low flow alarms.
- Optional 4-20mA Output signal.
- Available in a range of corrosive resistant
materials.
- Available with security enclosures for safety
protection.
Alarm Options
All alarm options indicate whether the float is
above or below the switch point.
AMM: Microswitch, activated by a manet in the
float.
AMD: Inductive proximity sensor, sensing the
position of a magnetically driven flag
AMR: Reed switch, activated by a magnet in the
float.
AMO: Optical detection of float (no moving parts).
AMM and AMR alarms require magnets in the float
and there is an additional cost for this.
Also note:
- 10mm floats (size 311-0025/0040/0060) are too
small to accept a magnet.
- 16mm floats (size 312-0100/0160/0250) with
magnets require to use a SS Frame to prevent
and there is an extra cost for this.
