Selection Notes and General Comments

- Available in models SC250, SCM250, AM500. Each type provides a different level of accuracy.
- MD500 is no longer available.
- Used in severe applications that do not suit a rotameter.
For example, high temperature (up to 400^oC), high pressure (up to PN-400), non-transparent fluids & high flow rates.
- Constructed of stainless steel as standard with different liners and flow tube materials available for corrosive fluids. Available materials are SS-316L, PP, PVC and PTFE
- Optional high and low flow alarms.
- Optional 4-20mA output signal (EEx ia and EEx d also available).
- Optional totaliser.
- Used in applications that do not suit a Mag flow meter (Gas, Oil, high temperature etc)
- Standard accuracy is 2.5% but better accuracy of 1.6% is available for a small additional cost.
- For gas applications use a light float (PVC, PP or PTFE without lead weight) or use the gas damping mechanism.
- Gas damping mechanism is not available for size DN-100 and larger.

ANSI 150lb Flange Options:
- For ANSI 150lb Flanges on the SC-250 size DN-15, 3/4" Flanges must be used for the sizes 15400 and 15600 (that is 400 and 600 l/hr water).
- For ANSI 150lb Flanges on the SC-250 size DN-15, 1/2" Flanges are standard for size up to 15250 (that is, from 15025 to 15250). These can also be supplied with 3/4" Flanges but the price adder is higher and the delivery time is longer.
- For ANSI 150lb Flanges on the SC-250 size DN-25, the standard ANSI size is 1 1/4" Flange but this can also be supplied as 1" or 1 1/2" but the delivery time is usually longer. The price adder is the same for all three ANSI flange sizes on the SC-250.
