Selection Notes and General Comments

1. Applications for RP20, RP30, RP60

a) RP20 is shaft protective type, which is suitable for bigger granule. Its shaft is stronger than RP30.
b) RP30 is shaft adjustable type, to be mounted vertically. When customers require vertical mounted type, and level detection is deep, RP30 is applicable. Adjustable shaft is also convenient for changed level position.
c) RP60 is designed with special bearing. Its probe is made of extension wire, which can be custom made for customers' requirements. Extension wire can be rolled up to be transported, to save freight cost. RP30 shaft length can be custom made, too. But the adjustable shaft is firm (hard stem). RP30 is not recommend with too long shaft length.

2. SG for RP20, RP30, RP60

Suitable S.G. for these models is more than 0.5g/cm3. If SG is less than 0.5g/cm3, but more than 0.3g/cm3, RP80 mini type can be used. If RP80 is not suitable for the application, please consider about Vibrating Probe Level Switch or Capacitance Level Switch.

3. Size/Length

Please note, max. protective shaft length for RP20 is around 1500mm. Length 2000mm isn't recommend, to avoid effecting the whole construction. Regarding RP30, max. recommended shaft length is around 2000mm. For longer length, please consider about RP60.

4. Paddle

RP20 is protective shaft type, used for larger granule, thus we use B type paddle. C or D types are also applicable. RP30 and RP60 is supplied with A type paddle as standard. Please pay attention to fixed hole for paddle:
A type paddle: min. fixed hole diameter 90mm
B, C type paddle: min. fixed hole diameter 2 inches
